Standard rooms
Our standard rooms provide comfortable accommodation in our lowest price brackets. Students in standard rooms share communal showers and toilets with the students in their flat (there are at least two showers and two toilets per flat).
Norfolk and Suffolk
Rooms in the architecturally unique ziggurats of Norfolk and Suffolk are arranged in flats of up to 12 rooms, each with own washbasin, and each flat has a large kitchen/diner overlooking the broad. Norfolk and Suffolk terrace have been recently refurbished to upgrade the shower and toilet facilities as well as the study bedrooms.
Student rooms have been fitted with new washbasins, and a larger desktop. Two blocks remaining in Norfolk terrace will be completed in January 2008.
Orwell and Wolfson
100 standard rooms are available in Orwell and Wolfson Close, located by the new residences. Rooms do not have washbasins. Rooms are arranged in flats of between 5 and 12 rooms, and the size of the flat's kitchen/diner reflects the number of people sharing.
Mary Chapman
Our City Centre residence, Mary Chapman Court, offers great value city living with close proximity to bus routes direct to UEA. Rooms do not have washbasins, but the small 5-person flats share ample shower and toilet facilities and a large kitchen/diner.
Standard Twin rooms
Sharing a twin room with another student is a great way to save money. Twin rooms are arranged to maximise privacy, with one
bed situated in a large study area, and the other in a screened-off area with washbasin and wardrobes. You can request to share a room with someone you already know - so long as this person is also eligible for accommodation, and you both request to live with each other. There are twin rooms available in Norfolk and Suffolk Terrace.
